Overview
Fashionstar Starai 7 DoF Robot Arm Cello Violin is a pre-assembled, servo-based robotic arm kit designed for end-to-end learning and real-world grasping tasks. The kit includes one Leader Arm Violin for human demonstration and one Follower Arm Cello for learning, offering great positional accuracy. It is compatible with Hugging Face LeRobot and ROS2 for data collection, training, and control.
Key Features
- Pre-assembled: ready-to-use 7 DOF robot arm kit with one Leader Arm (Violin) and one Follower Arm (Cello).
- Real-world task capable: can be used for grasping tasks; a 300g working payload and 470mm reach scenario is supported. See Specifications for full ratings.
- Self-sustaining suspension / Button Hover: simulates gravity compensation so the arm can hover and hold any position via a button, enabling easier data collection.
- LeRobot framework compatible: SDK under the Hugging Face LeRobot framework for easier data collection and training.
- Supported ROS2, MoveIt2, and Isaac Sim: publish/subscribe topics and control via ROS2, inverse kinematics with MoveIt2, and simulation in Isaac Sim.
- Open-source SDK: Python and C++ development supported.
Notes
- Power Adapter NOT included.
- Requires 12V10A Power Adapter with XT30 connector or loose wires for screw terminals x1, and 300W Power Supply with XT60 connector x1.
